Open Call for Peer-2-Peer (P2P) Exchange Program for Creative Hubs

Finance, Learning, Innovation and Patenting is a Pilot project co-funded by the EU whose main objective is to support healthy and sustainable ecosystems for Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs) with respect to these four key policy areas. The Creative FLIP P2P exchange program is aimed at engaging leading, established, and innovative creative hubs with peers from emerging creative hubs across Europe, as well as with relevant educational institutions. Esch2022 European Capital of Culture (Luxembourg) > call for projects

The nomination includes: - the city of Esch - 11 Luxembourg communes in the south of the country - 8 French Pays Haut Val d'Alzette communes (CCPHVA) As part of this European initiative, the not-for-profit anisation Esch2022 is launching a call for projects. PCAI residency programme (Greece) > Open call

PCAI is excited to announce the launch of its Artist-in-Residence program focusing on the interaction between contemporary art and environmental consiousness. Believing that art is the best way to stimulate dialogue about sustainable thinking and the crucial matter of toxic waste PCAI invites artists from all over the world to reside for a week in Athens, get inspired and create a video work on the topic. In partnership with MAD, the ADAGP, the Society of Authors in the Graphic and Plastic Arts, is pleased to announce the third edition of the prize — Artist’s Book Talent Revelation — intended to support and promote contemporary creation in the discipline of artists’ books. The jury, co-chaired by artists Philippe Ramette et Sylvie Huerre-Debré, will bring together several personalities from the contemporary art world (artists, journalists and critics, representatives of institutions). MACAAL (Morocco) > Open call for artists' residencies

Following Kehinde Wiley and the Black Rock programme in Dakar, a new residence is opening in Marrakech for visual artists, researchers and curators from the African continent and its diaspora, whose research or production project is connected to the continent. The programme launched by the contemporary art museum MACAAL (Musée d'Art Contemporain Africain Al Maaden) will offer stays lasting from one to three months. Deadline: 15 July 2019.

Open call for a research artist residency - Residents of Universe (YermilovCentre, Kharkiv Ukraine)

This year 1-month residency will happen on locations — museums, collections and departments — of Karazin University. Museum of Nature, Archaeology Museum, Central Science Library, Botanical Garden, Museum of history of Kharkiv National University, Astronomical Observatory, hall and yard of University. Artists are invited to discover the collections, archives and spaces of University and propose their artistic visions on these historical funds. The aim of the residency is a try to rethink the university's collections from an artistic point of view and to produce new art-works which will be presented on the places.
